Judge Rebecca Macbeth was elected to serve as Justice of the Peace for the Moon
Valley Justice Court in 2004. She has eight years prior experience as judge for
the East Phoenix #1 precinct, and four years as constable for East Phoenix #2.
An active member of the court community, Judge Macbeth has served on a number of
judicial committees, including the Supreme Court Commission on Technology, the
Justice Courts’ Executive Management team, and chairmanship of the courts’
Automation Committee. She has appeared in Supreme Court training videos on the
courts and domestic violence issues.
Judge Macbeth is a member of the Professional Standards and Policies Committee
for the Maricopa County Justice Courts.
Focusing community outreach efforts on our neighborhoods’ children, Judge
Macbeth hosts field trips from area schools at the Northeast Regional Court
Center, and speaks before classes on the courts and the legal system.
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in political science.
