Honorable Michael Reagan has been McDowell Mountain Justice of the Peace since January 2004, when the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors appointed him to fill the remainder of his predecessor’s term of office.
Prior to his appointment, Judge Reagan was the chief lobbyist representing the Arizona Small Business Administration at the Arizona Legislature. He resigned from the position upon his appointment to the bench.
Judge Reagan has been recognized locally and nationally for his successful business practices. He received numerous awards from the Small Business Administration and the U.S. Small Business Administration for his innovative business achievements as CEO of Power Signs & Graphics Inc., a company he founded in 1991 and sold in 2001.
He was honored by the Phoenix Chamber of Commerce in 1999 as its Small Business person of the Year and in 1998 he received the Blue Chip Enterprise Award for Arizona from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
Judge Reagan has also been involved in a variety of civil activities. He served more than five years on Silent Witness Inc. Board of Directors, as treasurer and vice president. He was an active board member involved in soliciting corporate donations for the Combined Metropolitan Phoenix Arts and Science organization. In 2002, Judge Reagan served as Republican Committee Chairman for Legislative District 8.
Judge Reagan attended Governors State University in Illinois, where he received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees.
