Blake King won election to the San Tan Justice Precinct in 2024 and took office in January, 2025.
Judge King is a 22 plus year resident of the Southeast Valley and has lived in Gilbert for the past 15 years. Originally from Minnesota, he grew up in a suburb of Minneapolis and excelled in athletics. He is a graduate of St. Cloud State University where he was a partial scholarship athlete and graduated with a general study 4-year degree with emphasis in criminal justice and traffic safety.
King moved to Arizona in 2003 to serve in law enforcement and began his career with the Chandler Police Department. During this first five years there he was awarded several honors including the Medal of Honor, Life Saving and the Meritorious Service.
In 2009 he promoted and moved over to the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office where he supervised numerous units: Civil, K9, Traffic, Jail Intel and Patrol. Judge King is a 2012 graduate of the prestigious FBI National Academy and graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2017 with a Master’s Degree in Administrative Leadership.
He is active in his church and devotes a great deal of his time to his wife of 15 years and their 5 daughters. They enjoy the outdoors and sports as much as possible.
